Sound simple? It is. 

We want to remind you that at Cultured Analysis every report entitles you to twenty (20) minutes of consultation to discuss the results and what they mean for your brewing operation. Not all labs are willing to do this, but we feel that it is a valuable service. Our reasoning is that testing should provide data as well as actionable insights. We don't want any of our clients to be confused about the meaning of their results. You don't have to use the time, but it will always be there if you need it. We're in this together.

Order Testing

• Place an order for testing; Contact us by email directly.

Sample Collection

• For most analysis needs, we offer a filtration kit that allows you to inexpensively ship samples to us without coolers, ice, or expedited shipping. For a reasonable cost, we'll provide a reusable box that contains all of the parts needed to filter and contain the number of samples requested for testing. Box up your samples and ship them back to us using your preferred shipping method. Any questions? We'll walk you through the process when you contact us. It's as inexpensive and easy as it sounds!
• For more specific analysis needs, collect at least 350 mL of each sample into containers that can be sealed. Wrap the lid with electrical tape to ensure alcohol and other volatile compounds do not evaporate. Please send samples in packaging that will not break during transit. Be sure to use packaging materials (e.g. styrofoam, shipping bubble wrap, etc) if you are sending samples in glass containers.

Sample Shipping

• Indicate "Up" and "Sample(s) for Laboratory Analysis Only" on the outside of your package.
• Ship your sample to us using your carrier of choice. Note that USPS does not ship alcohol.
  • Filtered Samples: Ship samples to the address above using ground shipping, or option of your choice.
  • Non-filtered Samples: Shipping can be dependent on the tests that you want to run. Generally, samples do need to be refrigerated and we recommend 1- or 2-day shipping. However, feel free to call us if you would like our input. We're all about saving you money.

Data Analysis and Reporting

• We will analyze the samples and send you a report detailing the results. Most tests are completed within 24-48 hours of receiving the samples, excluding advanced analyses (HPLC, GC-FID, etc) and microbe testing. Let us know if you need help understanding what the results mean for your operation.
